All the characters are now much smoother, thanks to better texturing and lighting. Any such complaints should be long gone when Extreme is widely evaluated.
BLOODY ROAR EXTREME ALICE HOT PS2
The main complaint about PS2 Bloody Roar was the lack of detail to aspects of its graphics ❾the textures seemed lacking here and there, and some characters were distinctly aliased. That's what sets Extreme apart from BR3 ❾the animation is practically identical, if not just the same data ported over, but the modeling and texturing are a cut above. The collapsing floor in the city stage animates in exactly the same way, although the texturing is a sight better. The TGS demo is remarkably together, but includes only familiar playable characters from BR3 (Yugo, Alice, Marvel, Stun, Busuzima, Bakuryu, Xion, Long, Shenlong, Gado), and the arenas are right out of BR3 as well. Stun, with his big purple armor, becomes insectoid, while Yugo, with his furry collar, transforms into a wolf beast with some quick moves.īloody Roar Extreme doesn't appear to differ in terms of feature set from Bloody Roar 3, at least not yet. with new moves and combos to play with, all appropriate to your humanoid look. Each character can transform into an anthropomorphic animal form. The gimmick that sets it apart, however, is lycanthropy. On the surface, it's a fairly pedestrian arena-confined 3D fighter, with fast, simple combos ❾Fighting Vipers is a good comparison.
